Independent driving - what is it? The video clip below provides you a with comprehensive insight into this part of the driving test, which some learner drivers fear. It lasts approximately 10 minutes and you will need to ensure you scan and plan, ensuring you are in the correct position, speed and gear on approach to all hazards.

The below video clip expalins fully what is required during th 'theory test', including the practice session and which documents you will need to take with you. There is also a hazard perception demonstration which is very useful.
